A capable electrical system is one of the most important parts of an off-grid EKKO build. The Transit Ekko Dual Alternator Upgrade helps support higher-demand travel by improving the vehicle’s ability to replenish the house battery system from engine charging.

This upgrade is especially useful for owners who spend multiple nights away from shore power, run heating or cooling systems, use induction cooking, charge bikes or electronics, or rely on the van as a self-contained travel platform. It can reduce dependence on campground hookups and help the EKKO recover battery capacity more effectively during travel days.

Replaces the factory-installed secondary alternator with a heavy-duty 280XP unit. Integrates seamlessly with the Ekko's existing 48V or 12V Lithionics battery systems. Provides a massive boost in idle output for faster recovery after overnight camping.
