It's built for couples who like to bring people along — room for the grandkids or good friends, and a layout you can refine as your plans change. The Classic 170 starts at $135,995 for the 2027 model year, with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 van included. Options are priced on top. Design Your Van starts from the Classic 170 and adds each option as you choose it.
What is the cheapest Mercedes camper van Titan builds?
On the Sprinter 170, the Classic 170 at $135,995. Across the whole Sprinter lineup it is the Classic 144 at $129,395, the same modular Classic layout on the shorter 144-inch wheelbase. Both prices include the van.
How big is the Classic 170's water tank?
A 20-gallon wheel well water tank, mounted over the rear wheel for traction and fitted with a heater pad, a back light and a 2.9 GPM pump, feeding the rear utility spray-down shower. A water heater and a gray water system are options.
Is the Classic 170 good for one person?
Yes. One traveler gets the whole 170-inch floor: a 76" by 67" mattress on a bed that slides to half its width or lifts out for cargo, L-track to anchor gear, and systems sized for time off-grid. Because the components are removable and the options can be added at any time, the same van seats up to 9 when you bring people along.
